The City of Mississauga initiated a request for an injunction at the plaza after two years of nuisance gatherings, altercations, street racing, and illegal fireworks, amongst other disturbances. Despite enhanced enforcement efforts and several attempts to work with the plaza condominium corporations, the issues continue.
Mississauga residents are urged to be cautious after Peel Public Health confirmed a rabies case in a bat. No humans have been affected, but the virus is dangerous – stay informed and take precautions.
Work is well underway to develop the City of Mississauga’s proposed 2026 Budget. We want to ensure residents have a clear understanding about their property taxes, and the programs and services they fund, before the City budget is released in early January 2026.
